Original Car Information. The Project One of the best uses of the internet is as a reference resource, the information being available to everyone with access to the internet. I am interested to hear from anyone who has photographs of an Austin Seven before restoration, in other words has photographs of a car, and more importantly, of parts of a car, which show the constructional methods used by the Austin Motor Co. No matter how small a detail and how bad a condition the part is, the information contained within a photograph is priceless to someone who is trying to restore a car to its original design and condition. Every time a car is restored the original information is substantially lost unless photographs were taken. Unless this information is recorded then enthusiasts will find it more and more difficult to be accurate in the restorations. The project started with the pictures of my 1935 Ruby which was found in a barn, in a very original state although in a very poor way. My aim is to compile any pictures made available within this web site so that the information is fully accessible to Austin Seven enthusiasts throughout the world.
