The car has been owned by my family since 27 September 1947. It was in daily use until September 1952. In the years 1948 to 1952 it was driven from Bexleyheath, Kent to Helston, Cornwall each year, a journey of 350 miles taking around 18 hours including stops. It was used regularly until 1971, then occasionally until 1979. It was then off the road until restoration was completed in August 2003 with complete engine re-build, bodywork repairs and re-spray, and new upholstery, linings and carpets
