Original Details obtained from unrestored RG Saloon.Austin Seven RG Manufactured 18th August 1930Chassis Number 115206 Engine Number 114872 Car Number B1 / 8079 Body Number RG 978 The records at the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust at Gaydon indicate that the fabric body was brown and the trim was black. The car was manufactured as a RHD export model and currently resides in New Zealand. It is interesting to note that the engine number is lower than the chassis number rather than the norm where, when engines were used for purposes other than the retail models, the numbers became out of sequence with the chassis numbers, the engine number being higher.
