Original Details obtained from unrestored RK Saloon.VJ 2044 Austin Seven RK Manufactured 21st June 1929The RK saloon is completely un-restored. The only apparent modifications are an electric windscreen wiper and a later version oil gauge instead of the oil button. The engine, although in bits still has the original con-rods, crank, block, crankcase. The crank is 1 1/8" A series of photographs have been taken of the car in order to maintain accuracy when parts are refurbished or replaced. As yet the restoration has not started.
